Obwaagazi Family Sponsorship Program
Bonny lives at home with his Grandma, Grandpa, two aunts, and cousins in Walukuba, Uganda. They all live in a temporary house with a dirt floor which they don’t have to pay rent for as they work for the people that own the house. The house doesn’t have electricity, but the family does have a latrine. They have access to running water in front of their house, which they then boil to make it safe to drink.
The family used to farm goats, but the goats were all stolen and they are scared to get more in case they are stolen again. Because of this, the family now only farm for food. Bonny and his family have a hard time getting enough money for medical needs, because both Bonny and his Grandpa have to take tablets every day.
