Obwaagazi Family Sponsorship Program
Ibrahim
Ibrahim lives at home with his mom and 5 siblings. They own a temporary house of wood and iron sheets with a dirt floor in Masese, Uganda. The house has electricity, a latrine, but no running water. The family does have access to safe drinking water.
The family is running a home based business, selling charcoal, matooke and vegetables. Even though the family business is doing great, they do need some help to improve the family’s health conditions at home. They don’t have enough mosquito nets for all of them to prevent malaria, and when someone does fall sick due to malaria it’s hard for them to get enough money for the treatment. The family also has a hard time providing daily meals for everyone in the household.
